a good book and a good cup of tea

Here is my calender submission.
The smoke bit will be embossed.
Let me know what you guys think!

here it is... sort of

It's pretty rough but the idea is mostly there. There's two pages on the pdf, because the lines on the second one will be gloss, so all you'll see at first will be what's on page one. The fish shapes will be more texture-ish kinda like rubberstamps (but i'll see how that turns out). the colour wheel might be more "graceful" in the ay it comes apart. and the lines (gloss) will be more refined (right now they are from an old image, I'll redraw new ones for this one and they'll be coming out of the orange fish's mouth. Let me know what you think and if you have any feedback since I missed the crit. I feel it's kind of obscure...

my leg feels wet

but in reality it is not

what I gots

Hey guys, I think i'm almost done the calendar piece, but I'm not sure what extra stuff I'll have yet. I've nixed the laser cutting idea, but I'm thinking I'm going to definitely have the background light blue stuff in either UV varnish, embossing, or maybe even a clear foil, something really subtle. I have a few ideas for the orange circles and text, but I'm thinking of either using a holographic foil on top of it, or printing 4C on silver foil, or replacing the Yellow with a metallic yellow pantone. Can the 4C be UV based inks? I like how the colours pop when you do that.
BTW, the butterfly is the chaos butterfly lol.

is the dimension still 5 x 5"? And, what is the paper weight? is it still white cover stock?
what color is the calendar part? does it rely on the colors we're using for the image?
